Plant A Tree Program: The PNP’s New Normal in Disaster Preparedness and Response.

SAFADECO joins the Mangrove Planting Activity of Pulis Kasanggayahan (Sorsogon) headed by PCOL Art Brual Jr, PD and PTCOL Charles De Leon today, June 29, 2020 6:00am at Pier Site, Sorsogon City.

The members of the PNP Sorsogon, SAFADECO employees and members of the Muslim Community in Balogo participated in the said activity with the aim of protecting the coastal area. This activity is one of the many advocacies of both the PNP and SAFADECO.

Mangrove trees are known as the natural coastal defense in coastal areas. It is also essential in maintaining water quality as well as carbon storage. Furthermore, mangrove trees serve as home to an incredible array of species. (ecoviva.org)
