SAFADECO (Salvacion Farmers Development Cooperative) sincerely welcomed 28 delegates from the Quezon Federation and Union of Cooperatives during the latter’s Lakbay-Aral Visit last July 11, 2023. Led by the SAFADECO Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Gerwyn D. Pura together with the BOD Chairperson, Engr. Beda P. Lubiano, Executive Secretary – Ms. Shaira Camille Janoras, Administrative Officer – Ms. Jhiena A. Dob, Department Heads, and Head office personnel welcomed the visitors and accompanied them to attend a short briefing regarding the SAFADECO Profile and its products and services offered.

The presentation was followed by the vastly helpful interactive exchange of assessments conversing cooperative discussions and apprehensions. After the presentation, the delegates roam around the SAFADECO Sorsogon Branch as well as the Head Office, took pictures, and make themselves home. Lakbay-Aral visit aims to visit fellow cooperatives such as SAFADECO and use it as an effective avenue for learning. It serves as motivation for the representatives to expand or diversify in other businesses and become more professional cooperative leaders in the future.

SAFADECO also serves as an inspiration for the other cooperatives for it has been started and is known as a small organization that manages and continues to grow and excel despite the challenges along its way to success. The guests left the room with smiles on their faces remembering the whole-hearted hospitality of SAFADECO, the knowledge gained, other
delighted experiences, and a handful of giveaway items as souvenirs from their visit.
