Calling all SAFADECO Members, BOD, Officers and Employees! Join “Ang SAFADECO Story Ko” Contest on OCTOBER 1, 2022 (Saturday) and get a chance to win cash prize!

Mechanics:

1. This is open to all SAFADECO MEMBERS including BOD, Officers and employees.

2. Interested participants shall be at the contest area on or before 9:00 am.

3. All participants must write their feature/success story at the contest area. No ready-made write-up shall be accepted.

4. All materials shall be provided by SAFADECO (Laptop, pen and paper)

5. All participants must prepare their entries (feature story) in an essay format to showcase the success story of any SAFADECO member, and the significant contribution of SAFADECO to his/her life as a member.

6. Participants must be able to include the necessary information based on the following guide questions:

Guide question:

• How did you know SAFADECO?

• Why did you join SAFADECO?

• What are the products and service of SAFADECO that you have availed?

• Describe the impact of SAFADECO to your life / or your family.

• Share with us about a difficult time in your life and what have you done to overcome it? How SAFADECO helped you?

• What are the things you have learned (social, moral value, and economic) as a member of SAFADECO?

7. The judges will select top 3 entries. The top 3 entries will be published in the Annual souvenir program and in all social media platform, and website of SAFADECO. An audio-visual presentation based on the feature story will also be prepared which will be uploaded in the official social media accounts and website of SAFADECO.

8. The branch where the winning entry came from will also receive a certificate of recognition and a token.

9. The mere submission of an entry constitutes the expressed willingness and consent of the member/writer to publish and broadcast either the original and/or the enhanced version of your story.

Criteria for Judging:

Relevance to the theme and Originality of ideas – 30%

Coherence and Organization in structure – 20%

Creativity and presentation – 30%

Clarity in language, expression and style – 20%

TOTAL – 100%

Here are the PRIZES:

1st Prize – 5,000.00

2nd Prize – 3,000.00

3rd Prize – 1,500.00

4th and 5th consolation prize of 500 each.

A CERTIFICATE OF PARTICIPATION will be given to all participants.
