A Closing Ceremony was held today, June 9, 2023, at SAFADECO Function Hall to celebrate the success of the Interns from St. Louise de Marillac College of Sorsogon (SLMCS), The Lewis College (TLC), and Veritas College of Irosin.

SAFADECO prepared a thanksgiving to the interns who have been part of the cooperative for several months, wherein, Ms. Wenny Colo, Mr. Kenneth Javier, Ms. Grace Ann Espineda, Ms. Leah May Despabiladeras, Ivy Rose Ditan, Mr. Carlos Dones, Nikko de los Reyes, Mr. Dennis Domasian, Mr. Jomar Jeremias, Ms. Salud Laceda, Ms. Sandra May Pavilando, Ms. Rosemarie Solis, Ms. Ma. Kristina Bon, Ms. Annika Florida, and Mr. Roy Oplida received their certificates along with the token from the cooperative.

With the lively dismissal hosted by the OIC- Executive Secretary Ms. Shaira Camille Janoras, the interns shared their witty and yet earnest impressions of the actual job and situations they’ve encountered as interns. The #neverforget encounters.

On the other hand, the SAFADECO CEO, Mr. Gerwyn Pura, spiced up the ceremony by sharing excellent tips and experiences from his time as an intern and a job seeker.

The cooperative has been a partner of the universities and colleges in the Work Immersion and On-the-job Training of the latter students.

We, at SAFADECO are incredibly grateful for entrusting us with these young professionals. As you go toward your chosen life goals, we hope your stay was enjoyable and provided you with valuable and worthwhile experiences.

Meanwhile, two (2) of the interns were hired as SAFADECO full-time employees, one Internal Auditor (Ms. Leah May Despabiladeras) and one Loans Clerk (Ivy Rose Ditan).
